![]() That and a name that doesn't sound like a 4th grader came up with it ), The above are small complaints, and not enough to cause me to lower a star, but they would add that "polish" that would make this a first-class app. Currently, I just press pause at the right spot, but it would be nice to click on the time and type in the exact second I want. It is almost impossible to move the slider to an exact time. Why can't I save over/edit a loop? Again, it's super easy to create a new one, but deleting the old one is an unnecessary step. Please allow me to re-arrange the loop order! It's not difficult, but I shouldn't have to recreate a loop to put it at the top. I just have a few requests for the developers if they want to make this even better: Currently, I print out the tabs from Guitar Pro and then use this app to actually learn the song ).ĭon't let the poor marketing fool you-this app is worth the money if you are looking for the features I listed above. Heck, if they would have said the above in the description I would have bought it right away. I have Guitar Pro on the computer and the kindle, songster, and various "slow down" apps, and this has helped my guitar playing the most. But that's not all! It has a trainer, which will repeat the sections (or the whole song) a specified number of times, with the option of increasing the speed every so many loops. So you can jump to any section and loop it for practice. So you may be wondering what makes this app so special? Simple: it lets you take any mp3, adjust the pitch to whatever you want (great for those weirdos that play in A432 or other alternate pitches), and then lets you create and store loops of sections of the song, and then allows you to slow down any or all of those sections without changing pitch. I bet sales would quadruple if they named it something awesome, like "Guitar Pro" (too bad that's taken) or put something in the description like "This will make you a guitar god." I almost want to dock a star for how poorly this is presented-I would have bought it years ago if I knew what makes it better than all the other looping apps (which sell for $0.00 to $2.99, by the way).įirst, this is the absolute worst name choice ever. I have to say this developer needs to hire a new marketing group. I almost didn't buy it, because the price seemed ridiculously high for what you get, but I had a bunch of free Amazon coins laying around and I wanted to see why someone would charge so much for a slow downer.
